TVS is a UK-based acoustic specialist supplying ceiling tiles, free-hanging absorbers and acoustic systems for commercial buildings. Eastledge installs TVS acoustic ceiling systems as part of our suspended ceiling and acoustic panelling work, working alongside established ceiling manufacturers including Rockfon and Ecophon depending on project specification.

Who is TVS?

TVS Acoustics is the building acoustics arm of TVS Sports Surfaces, a UK company based in Haslingden, Lancashire, with nearly two decades of experience in acoustic and vibration control across commercial, education, entertainment and sports environments. Their acoustic ceiling range sits alongside a broader portfolio that includes acoustic flooring, floating floors and vibration isolation systems, making TVS a specialist with acoustics at the centre of their business rather than a peripheral product category.

TVS products are listed on NBS Source, the specification platform used by architects, engineers and designers across the UK construction industry, which means their systems can be specified and accessed through the same route as the major ceiling manufacturers. Eastledge maintains a working relationship with TVS technical support and installs their systems where the project supply chain and specification call for them; no formal approved-installer programme is claimed.

TVS acoustic ceiling solutions

TVS supply acoustic ceiling systems across several product categories, all verified from their public product range:

Mineral and soft fibre ceiling tiles: standard grid-compatible lay-in tiles in mineral fibre and soft fibre formats for suspended ceiling systems in offices, education and commercial fit-out. The workhorse of the TVS ceiling range in standard commercial environments.

TVS Cleancare ceiling tiles: a hygiene-rated tile range designed for environments where routine surface cleaning is required: commercial kitchens, food service, healthcare and similar applications where standard mineral fibre surfaces are not adequate.

TVS Absorb Rafts and Baffles: free-hanging acoustic absorbers in raft and baffle configurations. The TVS Absorb Raft and TVS Absorb Baffle are suspended below structural soffits on proprietary hangers, delivering targeted sound absorption in open-plan offices, school and sports halls, atriums and industrial environments where a standard grid ceiling would obstruct sightlines or conflict with an exposed services aesthetic.

Metal ceiling tiles: metal format tiles for suspended grid systems where a more durable or architectural ceiling finish is required, suitable for retail, hospitality and heavy-use commercial environments.

Where TVS systems are specified

TVS acoustic ceiling systems are used across schools and education buildings, offices and commercial fit-out, sports halls and leisure facilities, healthcare environments (particularly where the Cleancare range is relevant), and cinema and entertainment venues. The free-hanging Absorb Raft and Absorb Baffle systems are increasingly specified in open-plan offices and industrial fit-out where exposed structural soffits are retained and targeted acoustic absorption is required rather than a full ceiling system.

How we install TVS systems

TVS ceiling tile systems are installed using standard suspended grid methods: main tee and cross tee grids on perimeter angle, with tiles laid in. TVS Absorb Raft and Baffle systems are hung from structural soffits on proprietary acoustic hangers, coordinated with the services layout and soffit structure at pre-construction. Both are sequenced as part of our wider ceiling, partition and dry lining package under a single site team.
