Zentia Limited and Zentia Profiles entered administration on 8 June 2026, and production ceased. Legacy Zentia and Armstrong UK specifications require a project-specific, controlled substitution assessment; they must not be treated as a route to current supply or warranty cover.

Legacy Zentia and Armstrong UK records

Zentia was the UK ceiling tile and grid business formerly trading as Armstrong Ceilings UK. The Armstrong UK business was rebranded to Zentia in 2020. Its historical product names include Ultima, Sierra, Dune, Bioguard and Prelude. Older drawings, operation-and-maintenance information and project records may therefore use either Armstrong UK or Zentia names.

Interpath confirms that Zentia Limited and Zentia Profiles entered administration on 8 June 2026 and that production ceased. Availability, supply-chain/compliance evidence and warranty enforceability are consequently uncertain. No insurance-backed standard warranty has been identified.

Assessing a legacy specification

The historic product name is a starting point for understanding an existing ceiling, not a current product recommendation. Identify the original tile, grid, edge detail and performance requirements from drawings, schedules and records. Then ask the project design team to select and approve a replacement using current technical evidence for the proposed complete system.

Substitution should be controlled through the project's normal change-control process. It should address the specific performance and coordination requirements, which may include fire, acoustics, hygiene, humidity, light reflectance, dimensions, edge detail, grid compatibility, loading and service access. Do not rely on historic product literature as evidence for a newly proposed system.

Documented installation record

We have a documented installation record across the Zentia (and historic Armstrong UK) tile ranges. Recent and historic project work includes:

• Ultima OP at the Glenair Mansfield industrial fit-out: premium acoustic mineral fibre tile across the office and meeting space inside the wider industrial envelope.
• Sierra with Bioguard treatment at the Nottingham Trent University Clifton Campus refurbishment: mid-specification mineral fibre with the hygienic treatment specified across catering and student-facing space.
• Dune at the Charnock Hall School in Sheffield: workhorse mineral fibre tile across the education refurbishment programme.
• Dune across the Kia dealership at Burton-on-Trent: workhorse tile across the showroom, customer and back-of-house environments of the automotive retail fit-out.

These are truthful records of completed installations. They should not be read as a claim of current supplier status, availability, recycling arrangements, accreditation or enforceable warranty cover.

For an existing ceiling, provide the drawings, photographs, dimensions and any available product records so the original system can be identified. For new work or replacement work, provide the architect's RCP and performance brief.
