Credentials

Accreditations and approved installer status.

Commercial fit-out procurement, particularly on public-sector and framework contracts, requires contractors to demonstrate pre-qualified competence in health and safety, quality and environmental management. We also hold direct approved installer relationships with the principal UK ceiling manufacturers, with the longest going back to 2009. Pre-qualification packs, certificates and insurance schedules are available on request within one working day.

Accreditation schemes

  • CHAS AdvancedExpires 8 December 2026

What it covers: Health and safety pre-qualification at Advanced level against the nationally recognised CHAS standard. Assessment covers policy, risk management, method statements, training records and competency evidence at a higher depth than standard CHAS.

Why it matters: Required for many local authority and main-contractor supply chains as evidence of competent health and safety management under CDM 2015. Advanced level satisfies the more demanding PQQ thresholds set by larger principal contractors and public-sector frameworks.

  • Constructionline GoldExpires Renewed annually; current to November 2026

What it covers: UK procurement and supply chain management service at Gold level. Validates company information against PAS 91 categories including financial standing, insurance, health and safety, quality, environmental and equality data, with additional Gold-level verification checks.

Why it matters: Streamlines pre-qualification across public and private sector frameworks. A single Constructionline Gold profile reduces the administrative burden of repeated PQQ submissions. Gold status satisfies the elevated verification requirements of many larger principal contractors.

  • SSIP

What it covers: Safety Schemes in Procurement umbrella assessment, held via Once For All. SSIP provides a single health and safety pre-qualification that is mutually recognised across all SSIP member schemes, eliminating the need for repeated H&S assessments across different contractor databases.

Why it matters: SSIP membership means a single passed assessment is accepted in place of individual scheme assessments by all SSIP member principal contractors and clients. Reduces duplicate H&S paperwork overhead across multi-contractor and framework supply chains.

  • Social Value

What it covers: Formal recognition of commitment to measuring and reporting social value outcomes from project activity, including local supply-chain spend, employment and training contribution, and community benefit.

Why it matters: Increasingly required by public-sector clients and local authority frameworks as a scored element of tender evaluation. Demonstrates a structured approach to social value reporting beyond simple compliance.

Approved installer partnerships

These are direct relationships with ceiling system manufacturers, established over many years of documented installation work and maintained through continuing use of their systems on live projects.

  • Zentia Pinnacle PartnerVerify ↗

What it covers: Confirmed Pinnacle Partner status with Zentia, the UK ceiling tile and grid manufacturer. Pinnacle Partner status reflects a sustained documented installation record across the Zentia product range and a direct supply-chain relationship with the manufacturer.

Why it matters: Verifiable on the Zentia partner locator. Provides clients and specifiers with independently confirmed confidence that Eastledge has direct manufacturer engagement on Zentia product across the Ultima, Sierra, Dune and Bioguard ranges.

  • AMF Approved InstallerSince 2010

What it covers: Approved installer relationship with AMF, the specialist mineral fibre and acoustic ceiling systems manufacturer. Relationship established in 2010 and maintained through a continuing documented installation record across AMF ceiling systems.

Why it matters: Confirms sustained competence in AMF system installation. Relevant to projects specifying AMF Thermatex, Topiq or Orbit ranges where a documented installer relationship provides confidence for the specifier.

  • Ecophon Approved InstallerSince 2009

What it covers: Approved installer status with Ecophon, the Saint-Gobain acoustic ceiling and wall specialist. Relationship established in 2009 and maintained across a documented record of Ecophon Solo, Master, Focus and Akusto installations.

Why it matters: Confirms a long-term direct manufacturer relationship across Ecophon's core product ranges. Relevant when specifying Ecophon Solo baffles and rafts, where installer competence in handling and suspension detail is significant.

  • Rockfon Approved InstallerSince 2011

What it covers: Approved installer status with Rockfon, the Rockwool Group acoustic ceiling systems brand. Relationship established in 2011 and maintained across the Color-all, Tropic, MediCare and Mono Acoustic ranges.

Why it matters: Confirms direct installer engagement with Rockfon across their product range, including the moisture-resistant and healthcare-specification tiles where correct installation against the tested system document is critical to maintaining the rated performance.

Insurance

We maintain the following insurance cover:

  • Public liability at levels appropriate for commercial fit-out contracts
  • Employer’s liability, statutory cover
  • Contract works liability where the package specification requires it

Insurance certificates are provided as part of our pre-qualification pack, available on request. Specific cover levels are confirmed at enquiry stage.

CDM 2015 compliance

Under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015:

  • Where we work directly for an end client, we act as principal contractor and discharge the full duties of that role, pre-construction information, construction phase plan, health and safety file.
  • Where we work as a sub-contractor within a main contractor’s framework, we fulfil our duties as required by the appointing principal contractor.

FIS Site Guide tolerances

The Finishes and Interiors Sector (FIS) Site Guide documents the installation tolerances and benchmarks for suspended ceilings, drywall systems and acoustic installations. We install to FIS-documented tolerances as a minimum standard throughout. Where a project specification sets tighter tolerances, we work to the specification.

Manufacturer system documentation

Where a ceiling, drywall, partition or acoustic system is required to achieve a tested fire rating, acoustic performance rating or hygiene classification, we install strictly against the manufacturer's system document for that exact tested assembly. Substituting components outside the tested assembly invalidates the rating, we do not do this.

Reference data for specific system assemblies, including the manufacturer system document, test evidence reference and board schedules, can be provided for inclusion in O&M manuals. Available on request at practical completion.

Pre-qualification documentation, references and insurance certificates are available on request. Contact us and we will send what you need within one working day.
