The role

Eastledge is hiring an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to run projects from the first enquiry through to final account. This is a broad, commercial role at the centre of the business. You lead pricing, tendering, cost control and supplier negotiation across the UK commercial fit-out programme, with support from the estimation team on take-offs and technical pricing.

The role suits someone who wants ownership of projects end to end rather than being narrowed into a single specialism. Every enquiry, every tender, every job you price is yours to see through.

What you will do

Lead incoming enquiries, carry out surveys, and prepare take-offs and tender submissions with support from the estimation team.
Prepare and submit tenders using Savvy, our pricing system, and follow up with clients to convert opportunities into work.
Manage project costs across labour, subcontractors, materials and plant, ensuring every job runs to margin.
Negotiate with suppliers on price and lead time, and build the material pricing intelligence that keeps our tenders competitive.
Apply value engineering to improve programme efficiency and maximise returns for both Eastledge and the client.
Chase opportunities, build client relationships, and drive new business alongside Sean and the wider team.

Who we are looking for

Experience in commercial fit-out is what matters most. A background in dry lining, suspended ceilings or wider interior finishes is highly valued. You will be comfortable reading tender documents, running take-offs, and working with pricing software. You will bring commercial instinct, negotiation experience, and the confidence to lead a project from cold enquiry through to sign-off.

A UK driving licence is beneficial for site visits and client meetings but is not essential to apply.

Formal QS qualifications are welcomed but not required. Practical experience running commercial fit-out projects carries equal weight.
