At Eastledge, our next chapter is built on strong foundations.
Sean's story with the business began in 2006, when he first joined Eastledge and built his early experience in commercial interiors. That first chapter gave him a close understanding of the standards, relationships and practical approach to delivery that still define the business today.
Born and raised in Derbyshire, Sean brings a grounded, hardworking approach to leadership. He often points to his upbringing and his father's example, first as a lorry driver and later running his own small haulage firm, as an early influence on his work ethic, drive and willingness to get up and get going.
After leaving Eastledge during the recession, Sean continued to build his career across the interiors sector, developing broader operational, commercial and leadership experience. Over time, that experience helped shape the way he now leads: practical, direct, and focused on doing the job properly.
Years later, the opportunity came to return to Eastledge and help lead the business forward. It was a move that brought the story full circle. Seventeen years after his first interview, Sean agreed his return in the same Derby location where that first conversation had taken place.
Today, Sean leads Eastledge with a clear focus: protect what has made the business trusted for decades, and build it forward with confidence, clarity and ambition. That direction reflects the wider Eastledge story: new leadership, the same trusted delivery, and a stronger future built on proven foundations.
For Sean, the role is more than a job title. It is a business he thinks about constantly: how to improve, where to grow, how to keep standards high, and how to turn a 40-year-old company into one that continues to move forward for years to come. That level of commitment now sits at the heart of Eastledge's next chapter.
Outside work, Sean is family-focused, close to the outdoors, and happiest when doing something active, whether that is on a motorbike, off-roading, travelling, or spending time by the coast. That same energy and restlessness carries into the way he approaches the business: always moving, always thinking, always looking for the next improvement.
As Eastledge moves forward, that mindset matters. The focus is not on change for the sake of it. It is on building on what already works: trusted delivery, clear communication, practical leadership, and high standards in the way projects are managed and relationships are built.
"People might assume you come home from work and switch off, but I never do. I'm always thinking about how to improve, how to grow, and how to move Eastledge forward."
This is not about changing what works. It is about building on it.
